27 Sound is an Independent music company with an emphasis on quality audio production, artist and label services, direct-to-fan marketing and website design. No matter who we are working with, our goal is to always help our clients build the strongest foundation for success. With our deep knowledge of marketing in the new digital landscape, our clients are able to anticipate and adapt easily as new trends emerge.
Matt Stine (A.K.A “The Giant”, A.K.A “Jint”) founded the company in 2006 after several years working as an audio engineer, sound designer and musician in New York City. A guitar player since age 9, Matt was always interested in music. But it wasn't until he began making hip hop beats that he truly fell in love with music production. Matt's increasing notoriety as a hip hop producer lead to opportunities to work with artists outside of the rap world and Matt decided to form 27 Sound as a homebase for all of his music operations. The artist roster grew organically over time and now 27 Sound has expanded its services, providing top-notch web design and digital marketing to its clients. In 2010, Matt became a certified Topspin Marketer through its Berklee Online course. Now all of 27 Sound's clients can reap the benefits of the entire Direct-To-Fan marketing toolset that the Topspin platform provides. This relentless drive to stay ahead of the curve is what gives 27 Sound and its clients the clearest path to success.
