Miss Elisabeth

27 Sound is very lucky to have the super-talented Miss Elisabeth on the roster. She is a skilled songwriter with a magnificent voice to boot. She has been singing since childhood but her real talent came to the surface when she spent half of 2000 studying music in West Africa. There at the University of Accra, Ghana, she took guitar, drum and dance lessons. In her free time she toured Ghana and its surrounding regions performing jazz and soul standards with her band, Miss Elisabeth and the Boys.

Since her return to New York, music has been her primary focus. Miss Elisabeth teamed up with 27 Sound’s Metermaids to create the catchy hook on the song “Let It Rain”, the third track on the Metermaids EP. Check back often to hear snippets from her upcoming solo project, Miss Elisabeth and The Giant.

Whether it’s a hook on a hip-hop record, a verse on a rock number, or one of her unique genre-bending twists on dance/electronic/pop music, Miss Elisabeth's powerful, soulful voice is at the core of every song.
