The Metermaids EP has created a big buzz on college radio, online and in clubs. Now 27 Sound presents 'Funk Terrorist' a hot new single featuring a collaboration between Metermaids and Sentence, 27 Sounds' newest recording phenom. These two New York mc's who each created major names for themselves in the new york club scene, were naturally drawn together due to their mutual respect for each others' talents. As soon as they started performing together, the duo had crowds yelling for more. Their rhymes and vocal styles flow seamlessly, and now backed by 27 Sound's pure funk beat, Metermaids and Sentence have created 'Funk Terrorist' a perfect party anthem with a hook that won't let go.
27 Sound Entertainment has inked a deal with New York phenom emcee, Sentence. A young rapper who has already performed with some of hip hop's greats, Sentence inevitably crossed paths with Metermaids' emcee, Sean McGaughan (a.k.a. Swell), as they were both carving out a name for themselves in the NY clubs. "Sentence fits right in with what we are trying to do here at 27 Sound," says Stine. "He is an exciting performer with a fantastic voice and a flow that any producer would want to have over his beats. Our goal is to put out a fresh, new sound in Hip Hop and Pop music, and Metermaids and Sentence are keeping that vision alive." 27 Sound plans to release a Metermaids and Sentence EP later this year.
